What age can my child start?

We take kids from about age 4. Teens and adults train in our adult classes, including students well past 60.

Does my child need to be athletic?

No. One room holds kids of different ages and abilities, and every one of them gets something to work on. There are no try-outs and nobody sits out.

My child has ADHD or is on the autism spectrum. Will this work?

It often works especially well. We regularly start kids with private lessons so they get comfortable before joining a group class.

What happens on the first visit?

You meet Master Danny Sohmer or one of our instructors, see the mat, try a class, and leave knowing whether it's a fit. No contract for the intro.

What does the kids intro cost?

4 weeks of classes plus a free uniform ($45 value) for $49.

2 weeks of adult karate plus a free uniform for $29.

How much is a birthday party?

$350 for up to 15 guests, $15 per extra guest, up to 30. Parties run 90–120 minutes and every guest breaks a board.

Chun Kuk Do, the Chuck Norris System, as a member school of the United Fighting Arts Federation (UFAF).

Do students compete?

Yes, if they want to. Our team competes at the UFAF World Championships in Las Vegas every summer. Competing is never required.
