Sound Familiar?

We Teach The Kid You Actually Have.

  • Can't sit still for two minutes

Learns to focus on one thing at a time

  • So easy-going that nothing gets finished

Finds drive of their own and follows through

  • Shy, and hangs back from other kids

Speaks up, makes friends, raises a hand

  • Getting pushed around at school

Stands tall, uses their voice, and knows what to do

Designed For This Age

Your child is seen, not processed.

Master Danny Sohmer walked onto this mat as a student in 2002 and now runs the school. Many of the black belts helping on the floor started here as little kids themselves. That is why one room can hold kids of different ages and abilities and keep every one of them engaged: kids who need patience get it, kids who need a challenge get one, and private lessons are there for kids who need a slower start.

Focus That Transfers

Drills that reward paying attention. Teachers often notice before you do.

Bully-Proof Confidence

Posture, voice and boundaries first, real self-defense second.

Respect, Out Loud

Every class ends with the Student Creed: knowledge, kindness, and never hurting anyone.

Every Kind Of Learner

Including kids with ADHD or on the spectrum, with private lessons when needed.

Belts That Mean Something

In the Chuck Norris System, promotions are earned on real skill.

They Ask To Come Back

High-energy, age-appropriate drills with structure underneath the fun.

A Typical Class

45 Minutes, Start To Finish.

0–5 min

Bow In & Focus

Kids line up, bow in, and leave the day at the edge of the mat.

5–15 min

Warm-Up Games

Coordination and listening drills disguised as the part they love most.

15–30 min

Technique

Blocks, strikes and kicks broken down step by step on pads and bags.

30–40 min

Skill Of The Week

Self-defense, forms or partner work, plus the life skill tied to it.

40–45 min

Creed & Bow Out

The Student Creed, a win from today, and a goal for next class.

Ages are grouped so beginners are never lost and experienced kids are never bored.

Within The First Few Weeks

What Parents Notice First

The change usually shows up at home before it shows up on their belt.

They listen the first time, and homework battles get shorter

They stick with hard things instead of quitting

They speak up in class and stand up for themselves

They come home proud, and show you every new kick

Classes paced for young attention spans. Every minute planned, no standing around.

High Standards, No Shaming

We hold kids to a real standard and celebrate every step toward it.
